It's a pirate's life for me...
Our set sail on the eve of the 27th of the 8th moon month. The quest a bold one, our crew, brave and willing to seek their entertainment riches in the open air. The crew of the SS Hank were twelve strong, from far lands coming together to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. We turned our eyes to the Twilight Drive-In in Aldergrove and set sail.Even we weren't prepared for the stir created lots of stares from our fellow drive-in goers. But, I guess that's what happens when you see flagrant bandana and eye patch usage, a couple of swords, one blue mustache and a captain's hat on a crew of slightly off kilter persuasion.
The sun went down and the cold clear night descended upon us. All hundled with only half the blankets needed to keep us warm, with only our bags of popcorn and candies to comfort us while we watched the movie. As the night worn on, a thinned crew stayed to see what delights Cars held, but soon cold and boredom crept into our skull & bones and the SS Hank headed out. The Captain, First Mate and poop deck crewman sailed through the darkness unawares of the danger that was to come.
We hand sprung a leak, a curious hole as it were. Our passenger door kept opening and Kat, the First Mate was in peril of falling overboard. Kat and I soon were in hysterics trying to keep the door closed as the nights rush of sugar came upon us full force. We finally made it to Kat's departure point and promptly upset popcorn all over the stereo at Kat's feet but managed to get her out and on her way, littering it with popcorn. Our laughter, I'm sure was heard up and down the street. But, soon Mike and I sailed into the night in the SS Hank with popcorn at our feet, a fear of our door and satisfaction of a night well spent.

Yikes! Sounds like it was quite the adventurous sail homeward! So, SS Hank, eh? A name for the evening, or from now on? Yes, it was a mostly enjoyable evening, with a few falling stars to guide us. At least there was something spectacular to look at when the movie lost your interest.
Poop-deck crewmen? Arrrr, that's it...walk the plank, Poppet!!
(Great post, & great memories of clinging on for dear life to SS Hank's door with the First Mate. By the way, you might want to invest in getting an anchor)
Mish, that's what the International's name was by a previous owner. It may continue but I was thinking something more flamboyant...like Herb or Earl...
Kat, ahhh good memories, good memories...oh, and the anchor is ordered...
